“Arts” is broader than you think
The O-1B covers the arts, film and television. That includes musicians, actors, painters, photographers, fashion and graphic designers, dancers, and culinary professionals such as chefs and pastry chefs. For artists, the standard is distinction: recognition well above what is ordinarily seen in your field.
The criteria: you need at least 3 of 6
Unless you have a major award:

- A lead or critical role for distinguished organizations, such as restaurants, galleries, studios or festivals.
- Major commercial or critically acclaimed success.
- Recognition from critics, organizations or experts in your field.
- A high salary compared with others in the field.
