Asif Arif, Esq. is an international attorney and the Founder and Managing Attorney of Arif Law Offices, P.C., a law firm with offices in Paris and the Los Angeles metropolitan area. Admitted to both the Paris Bar and the California Bar, Mr. Arif concentrates his practice on U.S. and international immigration law, global mobility, cross-border transactions, and complex human rights matters. He is particularly recognized for handling sophisticated legal issues involving France, the United States, and the broader Francophone world.

With more than eleven years of legal experience, Mr. Arif has developed a reputation for navigating highly complex immigration and international matters while ensuring compliance with comparative and international legal frameworks. His practice encompasses employment-based immigration, investor visas, family-based immigration, humanitarian relief, litigation before immigration courts, and strategic international mobility planning for individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and multinational organizations for both France and the United States.

Beyond his legal practice, Mr. Arif has maintained a longstanding commitment to public affairs, diplomacy, and human rights advocacy. From 2011 to 2020, he served as Director of Public Affairs for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in France. In this volunteer capacity, he engaged extensively with governmental, diplomatic, and civil society stakeholders across France, Algeria, West Africa, Mayotte, and the Comoros Islands. During this period, he cultivated enduring relationships with senior government officials, diplomats, and policymakers throughout France, Quebec, and Francophone Africa.

Since 2022, Mr. Arif has served as a legal advisor to the Consulate General of France in Los Angeles, providing strategic counsel and supporting initiatives that strengthen legal, cultural, and community engagement between France and the United States.

Throughout his career, Mr. Arif has appeared before courts and administrative tribunals in both Europe and the United States. He has litigated matters involving immigration law, freedom of conscience, freedom of religion, and fundamental human rights before French courts and has participated in proceedings before the European Court of Human Rights. In the United States, he represents clients before federal agencies, federal courts, and the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR).

Mr. Arif currently serves as Secretary of the Immigration Law Section of the Orange County Bar Association, reflecting his continued involvement in the advancement of the legal profession and the development of immigration law practice.

Fluent in French, English, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi, Mr. Arif is a frequent commentator on international legal and public affairs issues. His analysis has been featured by major media outlets, including France 24, BBC, and BFM TV. He is also the author of six books in French addressing immigration law, civil liberties, freedom of religion, and human rights, in addition to numerous articles and publications on international legal issues.
